BC taxi companies are governed by the Passenger Transportation Board (PTB). The PTB is an independent administrative tribunal that licenses and regulates taxis, ride-hail, limousines, shuttles and inter-city busses in the Province of British Columbia.
Write a letter commenting how you feel about the taxi services currently available to you in the City of Nanaimo and the Regional Districts of Nanaimo. We want to hear your rants and your raves.
Examples:
- When you have previously called for taxis were you satisfied or unsatisfied with the wait times it took for your taxis to arrive?
- When you have previously called for taxis were you satisfied or unsatisfied with the dispatching system? How do you feel about speaking with a live human dispatcher? Computer dispatcher? Booking through an app?
- When you have previously called for taxis were you satisfied or unsatisfied with the cleanliness of your taxis and the customer service you received from your taxi driver?
- How do you feel about the cost of taxis? Are you satisfied or unsatisfied with the current taxi fare rates offered to you?
Eligible participants completing all letter requirements will receive a $25.00 Amazon gift card emailed to their registered email address with in 48 hours of submission.
